First PTA meeting of the year, September 9th 7:00 @ Hale!  This year the Hale and Field PTAs will be holding joint meetings all school year, rotating sites on the second Mondays of each month and starting at Hale on Sept. 9 from 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m.

First PTA meeting of the year, September 9th 7:00 @ Hale!  This year the Hale and Field PTAs will be holding joint meetings all school year, rotating sites on the second Mondays of each month and starting at Hale on Sept. 9 from 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Mark your calendars for those nights to hear school updates from the principals, meet new people, learn about volunteer opportunities and help strengthen our neighborhood public schools! There is no official way to "join" the PTA, all are welcome please come check out what PTA is all about.

2. The Hale and Field online spirit wear stores are open for your back-to-school wardrobes. Browse the catalogue and you might even find some new Taylor Swift-themed designs! Orders must be placed by Monday, Sept. 23. Click here for Field.

3. The Hale & Field Bike Bus will stage its first organized ride on Friday, Sept. 13. Meet at 8:40 a.m. at the Bunny statue near Portland Ave. & Minnehaha Pkwy, with one route to Hale and one route to Field. Join the Bike Bus WhatsApp group for updates each week, and if you're new to the community or haven't checked it out yet, read this welcome document for more information!

4. This year all dine-out nights will support both Hale and Field PTA's equally! Looking further ahead, in case it's helpful to arrange child care for a parent night out, the next Hale-Field Dine Out Night will take place at Venn Brewing Co. (3550 E. 46th St.) on Wednesday, Sept. 18 with $1 per pour going to our PTAs from 6-9 p.m.
